Family Project’s pieces are made to order. A thoughtful approach to design, both conceptually and practically, enables a variety of possible manufacturing solutions and adoption of different materials, in order to satisfy different needs and budgets, keeping intact the project’s ethos and narrative. For enquiries or to commission a piece, please follow the procedure below.
INITIAL CONSULTATION
Most of the times, our commissions start with a dialogue with our clients. Please email info.familyproject@gmail.com.
Conversations span from the type of family to be represented to the type of product and associated intended use that is wanted.
For larger pieces, Family Project offers a drawing and 3d modelling service to make sure the proposed pieces are sized correctly and take into consideration the specific characteristics of the space in which they will be placed. When needed, site visits can be organised.
PRICING
Once the initial consulation is completed, a quote for the chosen piece(s) in the required material(s) is provided.
Once the quote is approved, an upfront payment of 50% is requested to secure the slot and proceed with the purchase of material. Once the work is completed, the remaining balance is required prior to the work being dispatched.
LEAD TIMES
Most pieces have a lead time of 8 weeks upon pricing approval. Sometimes, larger pieces can take up to 12 weeks although we always to do our best to manufacture and deliver as promplty as possible.
Please email us for any lead time enquiries or if you need a specific item by a certain date.
DELIVERY
We deliver using a variety of logistics partners depending on the size of the item and destination. When your item arrives to you, please closely inspect it and in the unfortunate and unlikely event of damage to your item, please contact us within 48 hours, so that the best solution can be advised. Beyond this time, we cannot be responsible for any issues with items due to delivery.
Our products are quality checked before leaving our workshops in perfect condition but please inspect your goods on arrival and do not sign for them unless you are certain that they have arrived in good condition. If you are unable to check the contents on arrival please specify that you have inspected the box only (remark on its condition if possible) and please check goods within 24 hours. If you sign for the goods and they turn out to have been damaged the transport company will not assume liability.
INSTALLATION
For wall-mounted pieces, an installation service can be provided, subject to location.
REFUNDS
Family Project pieces are produced to the highest standards. Repairs may be arranged in the unlike event of defective products but unfortunately we cannot offer refunds for any purchases made.
